Redesigning an AC Remote

Theory of Interactivity: As part of an assignment, I was asked to select a product/interface I use often and refine its interface. I'll analyze design issues, identify the objective, ideate, test and refine my design, and present the final prototype.

Mitsubishi AC Remote

Identifying the issue: The AC remote controller made by Mitsubishi, despite its reputation for being efficient and user-friendly, has proven to be difficult to use. With its numerous buttons and confusing symbols, users often find themselves struggling to operate the device effectively. Even the manual fails to provide clear instructions, resulting in a negative user experience. As a result, I have decided to redesign this product with the goal of improving the user experience for myself and other users.
